funny, I thought the same. Growing up on the East Coast, I have some experience in this area, and once replaced the metal floor of my 1961(!) VW with plywood, just like Rob's fine craftsmanship here. Can't wait to see it in person.

Dont worry Brother its removable to give you the true Fred Flintstone effect :grinpimp:

it would be nice if somebody would tell us the status of the creek mid-week.

If -improbable as that may be- the creek would be close to a foot deep, I'd have to switch trailer from the low slung :princess:-comfy popup to my RTT offroadish affair. :)

TIA

No worries,

There is no creek,
and there will be no creek.

No rain => no runoff => no creek.

It will need to rain for days, multiple storms, before the creek breaks through from the lagoon to the sea.
And that ain't gonna happen.

So bring the :princess: comfy trailer.

LOL, now that was funny! :)

OK, OK, no creek. Bummer.... :D Can we at least play in the lagoon after dumping the low a$$ trailer?

Thanks for the update Jim! The :princess: is staying home, but I'm still bringing the comfy trailer 'cause it's got the fridge for the
I was reading a lot about the creek and starting to get worried.

most excellent reason to bring a popup indeed. Same thinking here.

I do have a fridge in the truck, but it could get a bit interesting to open a brew that was in the truck after doing shenanigans in the dunes... :D

does it have a chevy engine?

NOPE 1973 orginal Toyota 6 :D I really have no complaints It just got tired after all these years I have owned this Cruiser 24 years and only had the head off once 20 years ago . Time for a fresh motor, I Beleive in the Toyota 6 and have no reason to change
