As the temperatures drop and the snow looms closer, I would like to gauge interest on having a Snow Wheeling Day.

This would just be a day trip, and the exact date is dependent on getting a heavy snowfall (6"+). I have a few locations of where we could possibly go, all local or State Forest trails. The trails would be mild when dry, as the snow changes the terrain and ramps up the difficulty. The more snow the more fun, so hopefully we get a good storm this year.

Count me in! I could go for a slightly less difficult Snow Wheeling Day.

Forewarned though, if we do a location that takes me up 81 and it happens to want to snow during my commute to the location, I may be out. I've read to many horror stories of major accidents during snow on 81 and I just don't feel comfortable on that highway while its snowing.

Totally understood, ideally it would be a weekday storm with enough snow for a Saturday trip.
