Why does the pump need a vent? The tank still has all of the original vents, doesn't it? Just install a solid plug in the pump vent. I used a different pump, but I didn't create a vent for the pump itself.

I wondered about that. Wasn't sure if the original venting system would be able to handle the extra vacuum created by this pump?

It's got a supply and return. I don't think there's any extra vacuum created by the pump.

I'm using an Aeromotive Phantom pump to feed my Vortec, which requires about 60 psi to run, and I have no issues whatsoever.
