@rusty_tlc Mainly I use the Iwatani on the patio next to the KK (smells and oil splatter stay outside ;))...and occasionally for camping although my Partner Steel stove takes front & center duty most of the time for camping The coldest probably was upper 30's to low 40's which for me these days is the coldest I want to be messing around all things camping :D.

If you use the Iwantani on WOT then you're probably going to go through one every hour or so of run time; dunno. For me and general outdoor burner work I'd say one butane can lasts 1/2 dozen or more meal preps; difficult to say but I can say I go through the butane cans less often than I thought I would before I bought them. And if you buy the butane cans in bulk (dozen) they're about a buck a can.

The big benefit, no surprise, is convenience, portability and compactness. I keep it in my BBQ cabinet and it is literally less than a minute to deploy/put away.
 
@spressomon That's what I was thinking. I'd use the Wok more if clean up wasn't such a chore. The wok doesn't fit on a Coleman stove well but I have used them. 15K BTU sounds like plenty O heat for even my big wok.
 
It was too windy tonight to fry cod for fish tacos so the KK served as big brother to the Iwatani keeping the big north wind in check ;).

I have that same iwatani that spresso posted as well as the other cheaper versions. It is definitely better in build quality and higher btu output. It's supposedly better in the cold because there is a "heat panel" that keeps the butane canister warmer for better efficiency.
