Hi all,

Just like the title says, I finally had some time to post a few pics of July long weekend, went to Tumbler in July, two trucks broke down on the way out, slet in cruiser by side of road, continued on, did some wheeling, broke my recently constructed rear driveshaft (machine shop said it was their fault and redid front and rear for free), did some fishing, lot of drinking, and drove front wheel drive home.
August long went back just south of that area, again the two trucks I was with blew up. This time they both got towed down, so didn't blow up till the first obsticle and I had to pull them back to camp. Oh how I miss the days of wheeling with only cruisers. No pics from that weekend, although they did get video of me crossing the first obsticle then Jeeps and Fords started blowing up.
Cheers,
Deny

Stopped on the way back to camp and took a few pics of surrounding area.

Wheeling in the evening prior to breaking my rear driveshaft, maybe the large spaceship I was in had something to do with weakening my driveshaft

Are those all beetle killed trees? Wish I could say the same. I've been run off my feet since returning from AK. This sucks. Hope it ends soon.

Wanna go gun shopping with me when you get back? Time for target shooting me thinketh. That's a good stress release isn't it? :)

You wished it on me didn't you, all of a sudden I don't know where to jump, just like it rushed in one big wave. Now I have to rush back on monday and get a flippen report done by tuesday morning. bugger!

Welcome to my world. Two projects I'm working on directly were due a week ago and fieldwork still isn't done and the reports are due on Monday. Not to mention all the other stuff I've had thrown at me. Tomorrow is going to be fun. Ih8trainingnewstaff.

I think I need to shoot some clay pigeons. Yeah, that'd be good.

BTW, Dokie doesn't have to be on Sept. Long. Maybe it'd be better for a regular weekend.

Oh... and I forgot to mention I like your spaceship.

Yes, but I am too computer stupid to know what to do. My buddy up here puts a video together every year of our summer adventures, when it's done, and I remember, I can send you one if you like. Most of it is pretty boring, as he just puts everything we have on there, he needs to do a little more cutting I think.
Cheers,

No, because unlike this original thread, it is busy at work, so I work my bag off. More money for the cruiser I guess, I did order like 1500 worth from ENS though.
Cheers,

I ordered a few hundred stainless steel nuts and bolts for the rebuild - made a claen job of it.

keep me posted.

I have my turbo, intercooler, new MIG PAK 180 Lincoln welder and all that I need to do the install, I will be starting it in a couple of weeks. Was going to turbo it this winter, but looks like I will get it done sooner.

What do you need the welder for? are you making a custom manifold? really interested in how the turbo does, especially interested in the intercooler.

Well, bought the welder for fun, need to weld in the bung, some exhaust work (flange), other than that it is pretty straight forward.

I'll take detailed photos, I have a couple of guys who are interested in kits.
