So on my current cruzer I have a 4x4 in place of the stock rocker. I had the idea of welding the whole bar thing on to push the car away from the rocks.

Now I have a shell that needs rocker\sliders. two choices-
A. Cut out the rusted rockers , weld in 4x4 w the 'Push bars" welded to the outside wall AND make the 4x4 into air tanks

B. Cut out the rusted rockers weld in the 2x4 and have the tube steel push bars "bolt ons" to the frame, probably the 2x4s will not be enough volume for ait tanks

Pros and Cons?

Cut that crap out and add 2x4’s.

Mine are welded to the frame because why not?

If you wanted a round tube step/kick could easily be added.
