just an observation : So you guys build up your trucks before actually wheeling them to see what you really need? Thats a lot of extra weight and money just to go camping. Skids do look shiny though, nice looking truck.
 
I have wheeled my 80 for almost 3 years prior to buying my 100 series. I am confident in knowing that armor is a worthy investment. Everyone that offroads should at least have some sliders and undercarrage protection. Lockers, bumpers, etc... get more into the optional category IMO.
 
If you need them, thats cool. Definitely cheaper than ripping something of the bottom of your truck.
