Sorry to ask such a basic question but I'm having a tough time finding it on line anywhere else. What size fuel lines does the 70 series take? (1hz, hzj78, etc.). Thank you.

for hoses check diameter at the fuel filter exit.
mine goes with 8mm internal diameter
return might have a different dimeter.

8mm and 6mm are the hose sizes for most 7x series trucks. Location will depend on duty/specificity per the EPC.

I'm looking to buy a three-day fuel switch for main and auxiliary tanks and it is for the 1hz and hzj78, so want to make sure it's good for.my 2h, which takes 8mm for input and output lines

1HZ use 10mm and the 1HD FTE use 12mm 3F was either 6mm or 8mm

RoscoFJ73--you're everywhere! :) So does anyone know what switch valve I can use for my 2h engine with 8mm fuel hoses to go between an auxiliary and main tank? I have a manual one on the way but prefer an electric one, I think (plus, there is a toggle switch on my dash that indicates auxiliary and main but don't know if it's got the electric hooked up since the actual switch that was being used on it was a manual one.

The hj61 with 12ht has 12mm feed 8mm return. I'm running 8mm feed and a 8mm return on the hj75 with no problems to date.

I believe Bosch made some aftermarket ones that were ok
Saw this on aussie ebay ,I don't think you need to spend that much . You need another if your excess fuel is returned to the tank.
I don't think the diameter is such a big deal, there should be adapters or something to join to hoses or fittings of unequal size together.
Its possible some of the aftermarket types have swappable fittings

HZJ75 $250AUD

This one looks interesting. Is suitable for all types of fuel and 4wd installations
3 Port Fuel Selector Valve

This one might be better, note they both have fittings(barbs) that can be swapped

Pollak 6 Port Motorised Valve.
