I had the Dobinsons on my 100 series and it was a love/hate thing.

Let's start with the bad: installation required some modifications such as trimming/drilling to make everything fit right, it would squeak and rattle to the point where if the radio wasn't on it would be annoying, and the drawers did not have an option to lock in an open position so if you were parked in a descent, they would try to close on you. Also, the fastener for the wings was very difficult to remove or tighten by hand and you'd have to use pliers due to the alignment issues.

The good: They looked great in the rig, very durable with everything I threw on top and inside them, the space inside the drawers was amazing to have. The price point plus shipping was much lower than most on the market, and they are readily available.

I've seen the ARB in person and it looks like it's a bit better quality than the Dobinsons. Sucks that they are on backorder.

Right now, I'm in the market for a drawer set for my 2016 Land Cruiser. The Dobinsons is tempting, but I don't know if I want to go that route again, unless I order in November when their annual sale is live.

I also considered DFG Off Road, but they are only available with a gray exterior - asides from ARB, this seems like the closest thing in that price range. If the Trekbox or other nicer options were in this range it would be a no brainer.

Appreciate the comments. That was my concern with the Dobinsons, the rattles. I cant stand that!

Agree that Trekbox and ADGU offer some very nice products but price point is crazy.

Have you seen/heard any first hand experience with the DFG Offroad drawers? I'm in the same boat, looking for storage options for 2015 LX570.

Slee did confirm they are showing an estimated in stock date of Dec 2026 for the 200 series drawers, but she said they typically see those "estimated" dates slide back.

While I can’t help anyone locate some 1045 drawers, if you end up needing a 200 series fit kit. I have a kit with both left and right wings that I can sell as I ended up with a used TrekBoxx. PM me if it would be helpful for someone’s install.
