Does anyone run a single ARB drawer in their 200? I need some lockable storage in my LC, but also a place to put my mountain bike inside. Has anyone run this combo?

Also...where does everyone purchase their ARB drawers?

@Dan Higgins did for a while, I think.

It’s certainly doable, and lets you still use one side of the third row.

Two details-
-You still have to buy the full (two-side) side-fit kit if you want the side storage and no gap next to the rear panel.
-The side of the unit facing the single third row seat is not covered with padding. Just bare metal, bolt heads, etc. You’ll want to cover it with something if a kid is sitting next to it.

One other question. Thoughts on leaving the weathertech cargo mat below the drawer?? Or should I cut it in half and install the drawer directly on the carpet. I've read some mixed reviews on what direction to go.

I personally wouldn’t want to artificially raise the level of the drawers at all by having a weatherteck getting smashed under there. I would think a contoured weathertech is going to resist compression at least somewhat and raise the unit a wee bit. :meh:

The drawer unit should mate with the rear tailgate’s plastic “gap bridge” (or whatever that’s spring-loaded plastic tailgate piece is called). You could always try it and see before you bolt it down.

PS:
If you haven’t ordered your drawer yet...I highly recommend getting the roll-top version. -Easy access to deepest contents at the back of the drawer...easy clearing of potential stuff getting “caught” inside from being stacked too high...easy drawer removal when necessary since you won’t have to unscrew the floor to access floor bolts.

If I ran one drawer I would cut the mat to fit.
If you get the 1045 long drawer the rear seat in front of that box will not longer tilt very far back.
The ARB fit kit is part 200FK and I got mine from Slee Offroad. They shipped it.

What would be the purpose for leaving a Weathertech mat underneath there? I would not suggest doing that. I've had ARB drawers in 2 200s and a 100 and never saw the need to use a mat (other than factory carpet) under the drawers to level it or for any other purpose.

Also I've purchased all 3 sets of ARB drawers from @sleeoffroad and I wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

Does anyone have a picture of a single drawer installed on a 200? I need to run one jump seat still. I'm thinking that I will run a drivers side drawer with the slide out top and the ARB fridge strapped on there. Kiddo will ride passenger side. I recall reading on here that this was doable, I am curious if there will be room for my kid to scramble over the single drawer between the fridge and the seat and exit out the rear hatch. I have installed the cruiser outfitter rear hatch release button to facilitate this, there will be car seats / boosters in the second row so I need the hatch to be an exit point.

Just posted this in another thread, I think this may be the place for an answer... thanks guys!

Does anyone have regrets getting the longer drawers compared to the shorter ones that would allow the middle seats to recline more?

In my experience with the full length drawers, the middle row is easily able to tip back far enough to be very comfortable. No complaints. If someone reeeally wants to recline, the front passenger seat can go nearly horizontal...or until it hits something.

I was amused to discover that with the second row out...the front seats just keep going back until almost to the floor.

With the 60/40 split on the 2nd row seats I think it becomes an important decision as to which side to place the drawer and which side to leave the single 3rd row seat. Standing in back of the truck and looking inward the 60 side is to the left. If you put a single drawer on the right I think you'd end up limiting BOTH 2nd row seats from reclining to some degree since the middle portion of the 60 side would contact the drawer. If you place the single drawer on left side then I think you'd retain the same reclining as you've always had with the right (40) side of the 2nd row.
