Simple Web Design?

Anyone here do it?

I don't want to spend very much.

My last place I spent a fortune putting a website together and no one went to it.

Basically, I want a one pager with my logo, listing of services and a Google map to my location.

I have a domain and purchase a basic webpage package from Domain Names, Web Hosting and SSL Certificates - Go Daddy but the templates all look cheesy as hell.

I have already paid a dude to make me some fliers and a logo, I just need it put on a page.

There is a blank template on Go Daddy but I am retarded and can't see myself making that look right.

Anyone want to make a few bucks and help me put something together?

Building a website is cheap. Keeping it at the top of google searches is what costs the money.

OK, I need to clarify, I don't need all the Google stuff. I have FEDEX and UPS and USPS that all show me on their websites.

I spent about $5000 on my Mail It Madison site and my numbers for this site were so low, if I got a dollar for every click/search I had for that site it would have takes 20 years to pay for it.

This is mainly in case someone wants to see if I have a website...I know I always do for other businesses.

Check out Wordpress. It's super simple to install on your own hosting. I have a set of 'Premium' themes from StudioPress - Premium WordPress Themes That I'd be glad to set you up with. Go have a look and see if there's one that you like.

I am NOT a web designer, but I could help you get something easy up for people to find you. I suggest wordpress because it's easy to update yourself and it will keep you at the top of Google, just by the design of the wordpress technology.

I should have. That is what I understand is much easier.

When I got my URL from Go Daddy, I saw they offered "the same" service under the same umbrella but it turns out their templates for a guy like me to use are totally cheesy.

I have sent my info to cathaan, hopefully he and I have the same idea of cheap and simple. Like JesS told me, you can weld the rear or use an ARB....I am trying to weld the rear

Maybe I can expand my web presence in the future, but right now, I just want something simple.
