Silencing noisy cup holders

I have a 2022 and notice the same "problem" with the springs in my cup holders. The reason this is a "problem" is because it is the only squeak or noise that I hear in my GX. The damn think is like being in a bank vault. Whisper quite in stock form, you notice the noise from the cup holder when it is engaging a beverage. One could consider themselves fortunate that this is the only noise the permeates the silence when driving the GX, and turn the music louder!

I also have this issue with the noisy cup holder wings. Since this vehicle is "Library Quiet" it is annoying unless you have some media music coming through. Here is something interesting. My wife bought a 2022 Toyota RAV 4 late last year. Cup holders and spring loaded spring tabs look identical. However her spring tabs are rock solid. No squeaks or rattles. They almost feel like they have dampers. So Toyota/Lexus must understand this as an issue, as the RAV 4 are completely quiet.
