sounds like you have it under control. at some point soon you are goign to want to try to seal up the damage on those wire where the scotch locks were used. can use sealant or liquid electrical tape, wires do not like salt water spray.

Actually I carefully wrapped them individually with electrical tape. The locks were all attached to the wires that were WITHIN the rear DS panel, so thankfully they will never experience salt.
