I'm thinking about replacing the shocks on my truck. I have some OME Nitro Charger sport "L" shocks that I bought used. I am getting some residual bouncing after going over speed bumps in my work parking lot. Going maybe 5mph, the rear bounces a few times before settling out. It's not a slow sloppy bounce but rather a very firm quick bounce. I am thinking the shocks are to blame.

I bought the L shocks as a temporary solution when I sold my FOR suspension, meaning to get the proper non-L shocks. It's been a year and a half now, so I figure its about time.

Anyway, I am considering getting the OME 60018/60020 Nitrocharger Sports, but am looking at the Fox 2.0s as well. The Fox's are double the price. Are they worth it? Anyone have firsthand experience going from OME to FOX?

I've been wondering the same thing. I riding on J's and the Ls and am thinking do moving to the heavy and the foxes. I want the foxes as I ridden in vehicles with them and they've exceptional, I'd like to know how they ride in a heavy(tempo tusk w/frig, tall drawers system, aux. fuel tank, flexi tank etc.) 80.

sdnative, as I recall you just recent stepped your height down, how are you liking it... I may be incorrect as I spend too much time on Mud reading as it is...

Yes, recently went from a FOR 3.5" down to an OME 2.5". The 2.5" works for just about everything I do, and it's more family / garage friendly.

I bought some springs and some used L shocks from a friend, and kept the caster plates and drop brackets from the FOR lift. I am probably too positive in the caster now, but it feels fine.
