Anyone have advice on what type of business would ship a roof top tent from the Ottawa area to Vancouver? I tried to see what it would cost from uship but I couldn't get it to work .

Probably cheaper to rent a Prius and go get it! LOL!
Have you talked to the car haulers? It could go in the back of a van/truck for a nominal fee.
Or household moving companies will put it into a van because they arent' all completely
full and always looking to fill them.

Prius LOL .

I will try uship again. May also call a local moving company for a connection .thanks .

I found these guys, car haulers located in Ottawa. Email enquiries are free, and I have found
in the past they can recommend the proper local business to help. My advice is find an Ottawa
company as they will be more receptive to picking up or having someone deliver the tent.
BTW, if you are asking around I'd be very happy if you found someone who could ship a new
16' canoe for reasonable price.

It's got to be more than the tent is worth though, no?

Bulky, probably needs a shipping crate built, etc, etc.

I would think you're right. It's only 160lbs but it's awkward.
