I've done this lots and its a good way to go.
Hint: When your stuff gets to the Vic side they call you. Go to Clipper to get the "clearance" form. Then you go to Customs.... clear it... pay duties....take the form back to Clipper and they give you the package. The trick is to park at Clipper and walk around the inner harbour to customs. Trying to find parking SUCKS!! Plus walking is good.

Tell the sender to send it to the following adress. Your name and # gotta be the 2nd line so they know who to call.

Can you get things this way that will only ship to a "US address"?

Ya I think so. Never had that problem before but I don't see why not. I had some parts that offered free shipping in the lower 48. That got it to seattle via UPS for free. Then Clipper brought it to canada (4 cheap I felt) Than I cleared it through customs (saved brokerage fees) picked it up and volia. Done. Tha hardest part is keeping your cool driving in DT Victoria traffic!!!!

That's exactly the sort of thing I was wondering about.
