I am going to check with Erin and hopefully we can make this one this year.

I know it will be a bunch of Jeep guys showing off, but maybe we can bring a good Toyota showing to this years event.

been jonesin' to get back to GMP but my junk will not be wheeled in September. It's goin' west and aint gonna take the chance.

Yeah but if you break ...?

You Fix it and go to Moab and :steer:

Besides its GMP, what could go wrong.... or just have Nick bring the 4Runner, or better yet the Franken80, so you don't have to worry about it being you :moon:

Ok. I can hear it now... trail gear, can you overnight me an output shaft cuz I leave for moab in 4 days.:skull:

I received the following e-mail from Ray Stanley, pres of Southern. Not sure I will make it as leaving following week for Moab.

I am looking for some for some help with Dixie Run this year. Here are some things we need:
  • Tech Inspection/Waiver Sign-off/Registration
  • SFWDA Merchandise Tent
  • Trail Guides for Easy and Moderate Rides
  • Trail Ride Management
Please talk it over with your members. Aimee Darnell could use some help with the Merchandise tent from some of your lady members during Friday and Saturday. Let me know how you can help. Call me with any questions (404) 357-0649.

Depending on what is going on in my world, we might be up for helping out with something. I will talk it over with E, but I'd say alot of our fall stuff is going to be game day type decisions depending on how the house is going.

Just received this updated request from Ray. I most likely be tied up with Moab preps including having trucks being delivered on Saturday. Can anyone else commit ?

Roger:

We are getting close to our annual Dixie Run, September 24-27, 2015 and need to finer tune a couple of schedule items. First, we need some additional help with Greeting our Guests and Tech Inspection; and supporting our new Merchandise tent for 2015. See the attached schedule for details.

Tech Inspection:

The process for this will be greeting all participants at the GMP Check-In, conducting a quick Tech Inspection (Battery Hold Downs, Seat Belts and Fire Extinguisher) and directing them to either the Pre-Registered line or the On-Site Line. We are trying to limit all volunteers to a 4 hour shift so you can enjoy the event. And a Big Thanks again this year to the Carolina Trail Blazers for holding down the Registration process. We need 2 people per time block. Please communicate with me (ray.stanley@sfwda.org) on your support.

As of now, looking 1-2 people to assist with Tech Inspection, 3-7 PM

SFWDA Merchandise:

All event merchandise, event prizes, ride sign-ups, raffle tickets and SFWDA merchandise will be available at a central tent location near the main GMP pavilion. Aimee Darnell, Knox Off Road, is coordinating our efforts and needs the support of our SFWDA Ladies to operate this new endeavor beginning Thursday of the event.

Aimee needs some help in the highlighted blocks. Please communicate directly with aimee.darnell@sfwda.org

Your help making this the best ever Dixie Run is very much appreciated.

Not even one response, I'll let Ray know we will not be supporting the event. Not sure we actually have s club, no meetings in months, only 4-5 people show up for rides.

Well, we were going to try to attend, but my sister informed me she is getting married that weekend so we are out.

I'd like to go, I'd also like to become more active, but work is kicking my ass... Who is up for going to this? I'd like to try for this one or the one at super lift in hot springs Arkansas...
