Hi Everyone,

Finally back to the Crusiers and the Forum after a long absence. My goal is to get my '72 FJ55 back on the road by the end of the year (fingers crossed). So far I have gotten the FJ60 OME's welded/installed. Right now I am striping her down for bodywork and paint. Also got a 1HZ sitting in my garage ready for installation. Anybody have any good ideas for seats? Is there a comfortable bench seat option out there or is it better to go with some buckets?

Popular opinion is to go with bucket seats. They are more comfortable and you can get ones that have a 3 point harness built into them. IE silverado seats.

I just installed IPOR bucket seats w/ their mount and Tuffy console - worked perfectly and very comfy.

Chevy Silverado seats are awesome and bolt in with a minimum of trouble.

I resprung the original bench seat. It's much better now.
