I'm teaching my 16 year old grandson to drive in Vancouver. I don't envy him and it's a lot tougher than it used to be.

Bill - Make sure you include freeway driving (merging especially), left turns yellows, some gravel travel, anticipation of merging morons and related incompetent driving practices, following or beside semi's, semi's turning right in front of you, women with animated hand gestures engrossed in deep conversation, any driver with a car full of kids, anyone with a cell phone, anyone who looks to be passing a small cigarette between occupants, Mario Andretti 'want-to-be's' (often driving a Fart-can civic) people in BMW's in a hurry to get to the next 'grid lock' patch, vehicles packed full of agricultural workers, - there are more you can add to my 'starter list' ... LoL

Yes, it's all of those and more. One of my pet peeves are the aggressive BMW and Audi drivers who I classify as Type A (A as in Ass-h**e). I notice that the ads for Audi state: "prepare to be overwhelmed and to overwhelm" which is encouragement to buy an Audi and drive like a Type A.

I blasted off 40 lbs of the 60 lbs of mud at the Princeton wand wash Sunday before I headed home.
