Harrison West or Hwy 99

I guess there are two option to get to the Hurley - pavement up Highway 99 to Pemberton or up Harrison west FSR to In-SHUCK-ch FSR north to Pemberton, then onto the Upper Lillooet FSR.

Depending who comes which way we could meet in Pemberton, which is a common point for both.

Hey guys Im in, wherever you people want to go lets do it got the propane stove and some more goodies, my new familly cant wait to go. I am game for friday departure. I hope the lift and locker will be ready!

Preliminary Plan for Sept Long Weekend

Unless someone has a better plan - how about meeting in Pemberton at 11 to 12 noon, where we can get fuel, groceries (good bakery in town near the gas station on Birch Street). After lunch we can head to Tenquille Lake, once at the lake we can decide to stay the nite or push on. We should mark the trail for late comers (who has the yellow tape?). If we don't stay at Tenquille we can mark the trial head for those that come up Sat morning.

Any other suggestions out there ?

Attached are some maps of the town and where we are going, including Tenquille Lake

Who is in?

Lets gets some feedback - opportunities are dwindling for good weather trips before the long dreary winter rainy weather hits and we begin longing for the next May 2008 long weekend ....

We are leaving Friday 9am from PoCo to the Whistler -Pemberton,
We can get lunch and fuel in Pemberton at Petro Canada
Through Hurley Pass to the Goldbridge .
We gonna camp at Mawson Pound By Carpenter Lake

Hi Robert. Any reason for the huge rush through and not to explore Tenquille Lake?

Sounds like if all goes well I am good to head out on Friday.

The rig is locked and loaded - we are good to go
See y'all in Pemberton noon Friday.

Aaron - looks like logging roads all the way to Mawson Pond, Hurley is steep switchbacks, loose gravel I recall - great views of the valley, access to Tenquille is 4X4.

In any event we can tug your Prado through anything.

so far it looks like I'll make it
trying for Friday noon at Pemberton

Please, I have a better chance of finding a rust free 60 for cheap then Steve actually having time to work on his truck.
I had a slight hope that I might not be working this weekend but due to other issues I now know that there is no chance in hell I am going. My bitterness is growing by the hour.

Steve doesn't work on his truck, Carl does. Must be nice having every part, tool and a worker at your disposal. As for him leaving on time Friday, that's the real trick. :D

Steve and I may not get to Pemberton until 1:00. If you plan to wait, great. If not, please post where we are going to camp tomorrow night and if possible, directions.

Thanks,
Craig

Well, I was to be packed and ready for an early start tomorrow...but...

So pack tomorrow morning, one stop downtown and then off the Pemberton. See ya'll there, or if I am way late over by the lake...
