I have to ask. How did you get the mud flaps to shine the way you did. I used the 0000 steel wool on mine and they look good, but lack that shine
IIRC, it was Back to Black. The much tougher part was repainting the letters. The best way I found on that was to use a very small piece of foam rubber as a paint sponge of sorts, held with tweezers, and carefully dabbed on very light coats so that the paint wouldn't "fall/flow off" the edges of the raised letters. Slow and tedious. I think that was a flat white enamel.
 
The wifey and I took it for a short spin yesterday just to loosen it up, engage the hubs/knuckles a bit. Drove like a dream. I still have a couple of things I want to get done (rear main seal and pushrod cover gasket replaced). Planning to talk to @OGBeno about doing these.
