Some interesting info about this rig. I spoke to Christo over at Slee about it. It seems that when one of his guys went to look at it, he made some interesting observations.
It seems that black pieces above the rear bumper are some sort of wood paneling painted black, or something like that.
They also seem to be attached via some type of drywall screws.

Not sure if it was wood or metal that kinda looked bad. In all fairness, I am pretty sure that the truck was commissioned by Toyota and the shop had little time to do it and had to work with what they had. I am sure it was never built to be a truck that actually went on the trail.
slee u r so right many of these trucks can not make normal right turn b/c of the tires rubbing most r just for show

I like it all beefed up. I'm glad some rich guy did it. I don't like the choice of rims, but it still looks sweet.
I think as once as someone gets that storeroom shine off of the headlights and paint, it'll look tougher. A lift would be nice in the future. The suspension looks similiar to all LC's from what I've seen. Looks almost exactly like my 80.

It's the Internet. Get used to the short speak. Or just don't read the post, no one's forcing you. No need to make snide remarks every chance you get (though that's about all I see out of you anyway).

That could be because I was in that area looking for a new LC. Figured Toyota would have one at the show. Damn I would of liked to have crawled under that baby and checked it out. I'm talking about the LC now not the model.
