Jeez Tom, that sounds like a beautiful Cruiser! I want it, but of course, I can't afford it. :)

I would suggest posting up in the classifieds here on Mud to start with. You may also want to run an ad in Toyota Trails as well. No idea what its worth, but it reads like my dream Cruiser build...

Good luck with the sale!

Cheers, Carlos

MIght want to insure your info is correct on your diff ratios. Otherwise i'd advertise it as needing a set of gears.

Thanks guys. I just posted pictures. The ring and pinions are accurate. The axles (full floater rear) came with 5.29's ARB's in them. I wasn't to sure what to re gear it to so I did the rear to 4.56 and drove it. I haven't done the front yet. I thought about dropping her back to spring under and re gearing it but I'm unemployed at the moment and I cant really spend the money on it.

I drove this truck regeared and without a turbo it pull exellent on the highway.

Also a custom exhaust system from front to back, snuck it between the gas tank and frame and wrapped it with heat reduction material.

This motor is super tight.

We know the rules, he is not fishing and probably does not want to sell it, economey is a cruel thing.

I guarrantee that this is a fraction of what he has invested into this truck and it worth more than what he is asking and I would recommend he ebay it and get more money.

Good luck Tom.

Tom, i've lusted after your truck from afar for a few years. i'm up in Victoria, saw it on the RADD site years ago.

Basically the truck I want, though i too would lower and regear. but what a build!

I have my D110 up for sale. If I can convince the missus to allow me to lean a little forward on that sale...!

Chris

So, just to make sure I'm thinking correctly, this would need a re-gear in the front before being used off road?

It's a beautiful truck...my dream.

Yes it will, but this is really easily done and not very expensive.
This is a great engine for the truck and a true bargain.

Tom, if the title says diesel on it I'd put it in the ad, as this will allow it to be registered anywhere without any hassles, even in CA.
good luck,
J

Not really. It was edited in later, after the thread was moved to the classified section. No big deal.

Freakin' beautiful rig, great price. Really wish I could pull the trigger on this. Someone will be stoked... :)

My wife says I'm allowed to buy it! I just can't get hold of Tom!

The suspense is killing me, so if anyone knows Tom, give him a ring for me!

Chris

I lost his contact info with a computer crash, he is south of seattle.....
