Hi Y'all,
I just wanted to introduce myself to the Georgia Cruisers crew since I am back in Georgia!
When I left and moved to Dallas, TX after college I left in my Volvo. But I came back with a FJ60 (and 2 volvos
)
I have taken my rig on some light trails and thats what I plan on doing with it. I really enjoy expedition type trips and looking forward to taking advantage of the much better terrain here than old flat Dallas.
Anyways enough about me, a bit about my rig:
I bought my 7/87 FJ60 it Amarillo TX in the summer of '09 with 132k miles. It now has 137k. It is in fantastic shape, with an immaculate interior and a few usable mods. I have everything from the window sticker, to every manual, to every removed part (even if it was replaced with an OEM part).
I drive it occasionally during the week and on the weekends. In the near future I am looking to put on an OME lift to refresh the tired suspension and maybe a custom rear bumper.
Anyways, just wanted to say hi!
Couple of rigs I have seen around:
I've see a red one on paces ferry and 285 a few times. A silver one heading up 85 and 400. There is also a few I've seen in the center of the city.
