Guys looking for some help. I have decided to bite the bullet and have my 80 series resprayed from the dark metallic green that it is to a Toyota white that was used on the Land Cruisers.
Given the age of my truck I don't want to be spending a ton of cash so I am thinking the best way to reduce the costs is if I remove the bits that that need to removed and do all the paint prep (not many scratches and no dents so in theroy just a good rub down with 400 grit wet&dry. I am also considering providing the paint just so I know what it is for matching purposes in the future.
I have selected a number vendors and plan on visiting each of them myself tomorrow. What would be some good questions to ask each of the vendors? And is there things that I should steer clear off?
