She came with an intact smogged 2F engine with 186K miles with one problem. The belt driving the air pump has long since fallen off and the pump is seized.
What consequences exist with running with smog equipment installed and a nonfunctional air pump?
A better way to ask may be: Do I replace the seized pump or Do I desmog?
I live in sniffer-free Texas and will likely be exempt due to vehicle age if regs ever come into play. I don't want to devalue the vehicle but want it to run as efficiently as possible.
