Cut steel wahers!
Copper won't last
Interesting. I had read copper was the better choice in that sort of application? And totally not doubting you... just saying I’ve read of others choosing copper first.
 
My gf is a metal smith. She said both steel and copper melt at about the same 1500. So then it comes down to strength.
I picked up a couple new 1/2 steel washers at my local Ace. I swear I have a weird love of that store; every time I look in their bins I find something more close enough to Cruiser misc parts, clips, ect.
 
Ha! Nope. Was having a no start one click. I did what I could testing the pos wire from battery to starter and have resistance. Pulled the starter and bench tested it. It tested all okay, motor and solenoid together and separate.
I did order a ‘new’ starter tho this one did check out, it’s pretty sad and the electrical looks pretty ugly.
Need a break in the temps to reinstall and check further what’s up.

Yeah... I ain't... just too damn cold to be outside in my driveway working plus kid doesn't allow me much time to focus by myself.
