I went though the seat replacement issue with my 40. I went to junk yards but found it to be pretty much of a waste of time. All the seats I saw were either mangled, burnt, rained on, ripped to shreds or otherwise trashed. I also found lots of real nice takeout seats at a van conversion shop. The trouble with those is they're too big for a 40 both in the height of the bottoms and the width. I don't know about for a 60. I ended up getting Bestop J**p replacement seats from 4 Wheel Parts. I had to fab brackets from a few pieces of steel as mentioned in the post above, but it really wasn't hard. I don't have a welder so I just drove over to a shop and took the stock seats out and had the brackets all ready for him to weld up. I then bolted the new seats in. I think he charged me $20. When I got home I took everything apart and rattle canned the brackets with Rustoleum and put it all back together. I'm thinking about doing the same thing on my new 60.
