Finally got rid of the milk crate:hillbilly:, and wanted to show off some pics of my new drivers seat (pay no attention to the 1975 vintage International Harvester school bus vinyl jump seat covers). The seat frames were sanded and painted with CCOT pewter paint, and covered with reproduction covers from Shane/AATLAS1X/MetricTLC over SOR foam and SOR hardware. I am looking forward to getting the passenger seat, and jump seats completed. :steer: Brendon

Looks very nice.

That looks fantastic.

I dig it! Great job...I am on the fence on re-doing mine or getting some aftermarket.

How does it feel? Were the springs in decent shape?

Thanks for the compliment!

I am trying to keep things original, or I probably would have looked to the aftermarket. The new foam is firm, and a big improvement (over the crate:hillbilly:), and the original. I am quite surprised how comfortable the seat is. I had one broken spring, but it was easily fixed. Good luck with your choice.:cheers:Brendon
