So I found a 40! Its got some basic buckets in it with a lap belt and the wifey wants something done STAT. What have you guys found works well for this situation. 5pt harness, shoulder harness bolted into Roll bar? You input and pics of examples are appreciated. Time to change the AVATAR.

Dan

Shoulder belt on the roll bar. Harnesses are a bit of a pain to put on in a hurry, and therefore get left off. What did you get, Dan? Year, details, etc!

Do not have pics YET but may be able to get some. Woody and I both use the same setup unless he changed his.

Summit and Jegs both have a 4 strap system but the shoulder straps are woven into the lap belt. That means you just latch and go with no 4 point connections. My girlfriend likes it (i.e. it's not a hassle for her) and if on the trail I can slip the shoulder belts behind me to lean out.

You can see a pic of it here: http://www.summitracing.com/
Look up part number: RCI-9450D

For mounting I used the stock locations of my lap belts and then welded a cross bar onto the existing roll bar behind the seats for the shoulder mounts.
