The search for a 40 is over. We will be leaving out of brandon Friday night heading for mobile to bring Jes's old 40 back to Mississippi. It is actually a 76 has front disc and 2f. Found one quicker than anticipated. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

Build plan is simple get it road worthy and enjoy it. It will get built up over time but it will most likely never end up on 40's. The truck is mainly for my

Anyone have an exhaust manifold for a 2f? Or a windshield?

this is right up the street from me. looked at it last week. good project, complete vehicle. surface rust, very little to no structural rust. was originally white, was painted a flat brown, has PTO winch drive (winch is gone), front tie rods have been "reconfigured". . . to what extent I didn't get, just saw some welding in this area
This is a project vehicle and will have to have new title work.
The owner said $1500 is what's gonna' buy it.

Glad you're getting it Rob. I may even buy it back from you someday. Now paint the damn thing blue like God and Eiji Toyoda intended it to be.
Ebay or MUD for sale section for a 6 into 1 header. Be sure to get the right gasket.
I got my windshield at the dealership.

I would do a header but the gasket is key. Remflex is the brand and someone on Mud sells them IIRC. I do have an exhaust manifold if you want to go that route though. Free if you want it.

Chris might need your truck as a reference when the time comes to put it together. I have bags of bolts and a toolbox full of strange looking contraptions that I have never seen on an 80 before. I plan on getting it running then doing a complete repaint while it is halfway torn down.
Dont worry Jes it will be blue again. Im thinking of a matte finish though. The paint choice I'm thinking of is Hot Rod Flats Steel Blue. Lenny says I should paint it with glow in the dark paint.
