200 series - previous owner had the roof replaced somewhere around 2018-2019 (shark fin hit his garage and taco’d the panel. I noticed this panel sealant cracking today in the rain channel doing my spring scrub down. It was painted over, but I can feel a little gap there with a pick tool. Can I use silicon to run across this or is that a redneck fix? Theres a few spots like this.

I wouldn't use silicon, but maybe seam sealer, I'd try and strip paint off the area 1st though. Clean really well before applying.
Is there a trim piece that goes on top?

There’s plastic/rubber molding that fits in the channel. They’re pretty notorious for disappearing I guess. I am missing 3 of them.

it’s possible the seam sealer is intact and this is just the paint cracking because it didn’t cure properly…. In which case Im not overly concerned. This roof was replaced at a Toyota dealer so it’s a bit disappointing to see this. I don’t care about aesthetics, I just don’t want a leak.

I'd do some investigative work to confirm this, but I think you're right.
