To run the DBC setup the LS2 knock sensors need to be replaced with the LS1/truck style sensors. Unfortunately it's not a bolt in deal, has to be drilled and tapped to 10mm x 1.50. Both sides are done along with adding the Lokar throttle cable bracket. Plans are to fab up an additional cruise control cable to the TB. The nice thing about the DBC setup is I should be able to retain the factory function of the CC setup. More to come

Stock CC cable was trimmed and I added a GM style fitting to attach to the TB. Next is a pic of the ps high pressure line we formed to fit. A/c brackets were purchased off eBay along with the compressor to clear the frame rail. Next project is fitting the trans lines up to fit and reworking the stock 91 shifter assembly.

More work over the weekend on the interior. Stock carpet was removed and replaced with new carpet from Stockinteriors. They sell top notch stuff those I wish it was a little more drop and go though I bet thats what keeps the cost down. Moreover MetricTLC leather kits was utilized on the seats, arm rests and center console. This is money well spent for sure.... Now all he needs is some WeatherTech mats to keep this carpet looking new :)

more interior pics

Not only will you be able to leave a 200 series in the dust but also do it in style and comfort ;)

Intakes, block material, injectors, tb, accessories, camshaft, heads, pistons are different :)

Sorry, I more meant that LQ4 and LS2 performance accessories would be (for the most part) interchangeable? Here in Canada the LQ4 is FAR cheaper and way more common because of all the old HD work trucks. That would be the main reason I would want to use it over LS2. Either way I am very interested in the progress here and now my blind eyes have spotted your build thread.

Everything is interchangeable between the 6.0L and most gen 3 and 4 motors.

Interior is completed, I am really impressed on the leather kits from TLC... Really made this cruiser look new again. Lately we have been working on the wiring loom, pic is of what is discarded. Within will be done this weekend. The dash gear selector lights on the instrument panel even work ;). More to come

Sweet build! Looks like you need to splurge and buy the steering wheel leather too. That leather looks sooooo nice

Interested in how you wired up the dash gear indicators!

Looks real nice!!
I will post some photos of how I did it. Just a little machining..
