Hopefully some on here can help.
I did front brakes on the GX because the rotors were warped and pulsing when you come up to a stop. I replace the rotors with new Centric rotors and pads with Akebono pads, didnt open the system at all. Took it for a drive and felt a little soft initially and didnt feel like it stopped as well as previously. Bedded in the pads and that seemed to help but I still feel like the pedal is a little soft or it does not stop as well as it previously did.
I was reading on line that you should open the master cylinder cap when compressing the caliper pistons. I have never done this before but maybe it caused some issue? No weird abs issues or anything that I have noticed. Any advise is appreciated.
