Little off topic but in that 2nd pic what Land Cruiser is that? Rounded doors, an FJ45 or even maybe a 35?

Pig looks good, good luck swapping in the running gear!

Odd stuff. My 75 had none of these problems. But the 70 had similar door problems. As the roof was caved in I was thinking someone used the rear doors as a stair. Guess not. Is this a stress from off road or a play out of badly adjusted doors over time or???????????

As for the other stressed points? Don't think that would be "normal" but I do not know.

so it is normal for the doors not to worried. the roof has me a little worried as it is the B pillar (i think) and on both sides of the pig. all the doors except driver work and close good BUT it did have a roof rack so maybe that caused the fatigue cracks.

i have gone and reviewed my old 7/70 carcass and it does have a very slight crack on each b pillar. as a carcass it came with a severly dented in roof, "groovy rock-n-roll" stickers and a syringe. so, i assumed that there was some just so WOW stargazing going on. I have to think that the stress cracks on the pillar are from uncharacteristic weight on rough roads...so, maybe my guys were strapping canoes or the like to the top (it was in the mtns). Then maybe climbing on the doors or the doors were persistently used as a load bearing 'climb in the 55' point?

If they are just at the top and not all the way thru (and your not going to replace your engine with jado boosters) I don't think I'd be too worried.
