Scepter 5gl water and fuel cans at pepboys carb comp version

If this was already posted then I apologize in advance. I was wondering around the local pepboys and came across these. They feel and almost look like the military ones except these have the smaller opening. These come with spouts by the way, but anything carb compliant seems to leak though from what I hear. just wanted to share maybe some might find this helpful

Great find. I'm going to head down to the local PBs and check them out. Yes, if the Calif Air Resouce Board (the evil CARB) had any thing to do with their design, they will most likely leak.

Those are quite a bit softer than the Olive Drab Scepter 5 gal , plus the spout is junk. We have those at Crappy Tire up here. They will work if you are on a budget.

I use the blue one for water and it hasn't leaked yet. I have had it for 2years.
