Needing emissions for a 1988 Chevy 350tbi...Need good smog pump & plumbing around the engine for my V8 swap.

Many did not come with the pump, depending on your local reg's I have swapped 3 into LC's all without that passed Texas emmission without them.

Austin (Travis Co.) just started emissions testing last September and I am not sure about the requirements, as far as the swap...I ordered the wiring harness & chip from F.I.S. to be set up for emissions and since the donor engine did not come with the pump & plumbing, I'd just figure I would need them.

meatloaf - I just passed in May in Travis county with a carb'd 350. I'm exempt but they thought I had an '83 which wouldn't be exempt this year. Long story short, they tested my truck, passed it and then realized I didn't need the test because of the year.
