Joshua Tree sounds great. I've never wheeled out there and it's so close!

Re: Mo and the 2wd 4Runner - you've got to remember that Mo is an excellent driver in his own right, so handling what we were on was probably as much as a walk in the park for him as it was for us in our Landcruisers! LOL!

Thank you sir

I've been amping on cruising to Joshua Tree. One of my fav places to camp. Def too hot out there now. Mo' betta in October or November.

Joshua Tree doesn't really have any wheeling. You mean Old Dale?

I should of went on this run with Yosh's stock 1997 CE 80.

I usually wheel at the Copper Mountain OHV area of the 62 & Sunfair. Not a huge area but, plenty of trails to play around on.

The group enters what I call three corners as this is the split from Santiago Canyon to Corona / Skyline Road or to the towers atop Santiago Peak and on to Ortega Hwy.

Almost to Majestic Peak or what I call Twin towers peak. This little section use to be really gnarly a some years ago.

Nice pics.

Great set of pics. Love the 'Train in Motion' comment! So very true with 17 trucks...ok 16 trucks and a 4Runner. hehehe

Hey NLXTACY - TOO FUNNY! I was behind you the whole way! I wanted to make sure you had someone there if your heating issue needed more than 10-gallons. I had a 5-gallon backup for you. Name tags would be fun! Hello My Name Is stickers required next time!!!!

You were there too? Which one were you? Dammit we need name tags next time. :flipoff2:

Yea Dave, I would have to boycott at that point and go get the scooter!
Oh good, you didn't break my record of when i took 22 rigs across :) Man that took forever.

Picture or it didn't happen! ;-) LOL! 22 - Yuck.

17 was slow enough, especially wondering if Joey was ever going to keep up dumping 10 gallons of much needed water on the dusty trail!!!

The trail towards Ortega HWY. I feel this side gets used less than the side from the peak down to Silverado, hence I tend to like this side for its more desolate feel. There have been times when I have seen no one on the trail and times when you bump into a few folks.

Thats Mr. & Mrs. NLXTACY.

For those of you who like to hike, Holy Jim Trail starts out at the end of Trabuco Creek Road and traverses to the top of Santiago Peak and crosses our road a couple of times.

Its cool to see the various terrain change and also the different angles of accent and decent. While its an easy trail its a good trail to get out on when we have to touch dirt in ORANGE COUNTY!!!

Towards the end of the trail we had our one little issue were a shock nut came loose but nothing that can't be sorted on the trail with friends and after this guy just got back from photo-chasing the Vegas to Reno race!

UGH!!! Now I feel like an ass! BTW, thanks a bunch for making sure I didn't blow up my motor. ;)

BTW, I'm shocked to see no pics of my hood up and pouring water all over my radiator! That was half my day :P

 Aging quite gracefully, thank you very much. Jonathan's 'little' run grew to be a monster of a run. We left Silverado Cafe around 8:30ish and I think we were off the road at Blue Jay around 3ish so pretty much about the same time!

Shoot, i must be getting old like you Brent... it was only 14! You beat me dude. Still took 6 hours.... waaay too long!
