So I was going to get a new set of wheels, started thinking about it I would be replacing my 15x10 inch alum wheels with steel ones the same size, I elected to put some work into refinishing my old ones. I sand blasted each one then painted and put clear coat on and these are the results. Did I mention from start to finish it took me 3 hours or so a wheel?

I have been doing alot with my truck lately you can see in the picture above, mud flaps are gone, rear bumper gone ready for a steel replacement, diff drop, tore the carpet out to be replaced by undercoating but am still deciding what undercoating to go with. Any suggestions? Anyway let me know what you think!

nice they turned out good. i used a roll in bed liner in the interior of my 4runner. i used a cheap one from auto zone. but duraback is really nice and they have different colors. also keep an eye on your clutch master if it leaks it will weaken the liner. and you can google it online and get the info. when i redo mine i am going to use duraback.

I used a flat black VHT header paint no primer 2 clear coats. I chose not to primer because I still wanted that textured look. It is tough, I will see how it holds up to a North Dakota Winter!
I do think I am going to use Durabek, do it once and do it right. Oh and Toy4xfun you have any pictures of your 4runners interior? I am however contemplating whether to spray or roll. I know typically spray looks better but rolling you have more control. I may clear coat while it drying in hope to keep it from fading, I hear it works wonders. We will see.

i will try to get some pics of the interior. but after i redo it with duraback. the front drivers side is peeling off due to a leaking clutch master cylinder. there are a few in my truck album but they are not the greatest. i rolled mine in and i rolled duraback on my campers roof it has not leaked since and we have had some hard rain this year. but i might spray it in my truck, my neighbor has the sprayer for bed liners. the reason brake fluid eats or weakens it it contain xylene witch you will need to clean the surface you are going to apply it to.
