Time has come for me to sell my 2000 Land Cruiser. It's been my daily driver for over a year now since selling my LX570 last year on Cars and Bids. I purchased the truck here in San Antonio from someone who had it in their family the past number of years. Since it has been my daily driver, I have had to do a lot of the maintenance that comes with a 250k mile 21 year old truck. Below is maintenance that I have service records for in addition to regular oil changes using Mobile 1 High Milage Synthetic every 5000 - 7000 miles. Most of the maintenance has been done at Your Mechanic off Bitters Rd in San Antonio. This shop come recommended from the local Land Cruiser community. They are familiar with my truck and can provide records as well.
I am located in Fair Oaks Ranch (just north of San Antonio, TX) and the truck is parked at my house. I joined the dark side and bought a Jeep 4xe a couple weeks ago so I am no longer daily driving the Land Cruiser.
Asking $15,000. Title in hand.
The GOOD:
All modifications were done by the previous owner:
ARB Front Bumper with attached sliders and side protection
OME 2" suspension all around
Warn Wench
Doug Thorley Headers
Kenwood Bluetooth sound system and some aftermarket speakers
Fuel Wheels
BFG AT2 tires (rear two are less than 2 years old and front two still have a good amount of life left)
Air Conditioner works great, again it's been my DD is south Texas for over a year. No rust, southern truck. Undercarriage pics included.
The BAD
The CEL has been on since I purchased it. I believe there is a P0155 code that keeps returning - not sure why since we replaced the O2 sensor. Maybe some faulty wiring.
The Airbag light also started flashing back in December, Your Mechanic told me I would need to replace the drivers side seat belt pretensioner.
The passenger door lock sometimes seizes up if it gets above 95 degrees outside and the truck has been sitting in the sun. Once the air conditioner gets going, the locks start working again. The manual lock tab inside still functions if you need to open it from the inside.
