I have an 80
Might be time to upgrade

But coming from an 80, both 100 & 200 are huge improvements for comfort/tech.

What are the updated safety features the 200 has over the 100?

The automatic seatbelts are a 200 feature that the 100 doesn't have.

I also think the 200 has more airbags.

Radar cruise; pre-collision braking; lane departure; rear cross-traffic alert

KDSS , The handling is improved on and off road. Stability control. TPMS, Huge upgrade in towing capability. It does gain about 900 pounds over an 80 series.

I've never sat in a 200
Automatic seatbelts like they did in the 1980s?

I think he means pre-tensioners. Tightens up the belt before impact. I've had them engage a few times in a hard stop when brake assist takes over at full max. They get your attention.

That makes more sense @OregonLC

Didn't think they would bring back those rolling seat belts on a track from an 1984 Cressida

Many more nanny electronics, which can be a good or bad thing. Airbags everywhere. We were shopping 100s, but as soon as the :princess: saw all the airbags the $ difference suddenly didn't matter. We were limited to I think 2003+ 100s because those at least came with some rear air bags.
200 did do well in the Oz crash test too.
