What about tomorrow 6/1?

Anyone up for a Pizza and a beer? Jeff is home from school, so we'll likely head down to Chicago Fire if anyone is interested. I could also be talked into the Rubicon Brewery. It would be cool to see everyone before Rubithon.

Hey Andrew, did you see me jumping up and down and waving at you at Carson Pass today?

:D

WHOA.

Tomorrow is Tuesday...

My vision is so bad that I can't see small objects 80 miles away anymore...:D

It wasn't me!

Is it tomorrow already? Shoot, I'll try to make it, still gotta put my seats back in.
Prefer Chicago Phire, so we can hear each other.

Cool-we'll be there 6-6:30.

Should be phun.

random question... do you guys know of anyone (semi-competent) that might be interested in helping me out a day or two a week at the shop? I'm thinking someone young who would like to learn a bit and has some free time. I've got some really cool projects right now and could really use a hand.

Hi all...I'm the proud new owner of a '91 80 (stock EVERYTHING) and was wondering if anyone could recommend some light off-road (b/c I only have some 31 x 10.50 AT's on there right now) trails to try out my nice new rig? Oh, and did I mention I'm an off-road newb? :o

I'd appreciate anything you can throw my way...and thanks in advance!

Welcome to the area and the madness.

If you have not done any offroading before, it is helpful to go with a group to something short and local to try things out. Prairie City out by Folsom is unbeatable for this. In the past, I have tested recent mods there just to make sure things work.

Come to one of the Tuesday get togethers-these are informal and a good time. There are lots of people around who have modified 80 series, so post up before you do anything to get some advice and see some of the local Cruisers. Your 91 likely needs a knuckle job and a wheel bearing repack. That's a good chance to start getting familiar with your Land Cruiser.

Andrew - thanks for the info.

Is it every Tues at the Rubicon?

Hi Everyone !
Been on the forums for just a little bit now, and thought I'd say hi since I'm in Roseville working near that casino Thunder Valley.

Hopefully I can make it out to the next Tuesday gathering (if I'm in invited :crybaby:).

Purchased a 94 FZJ80 with 268k , YEA, I did it ! Runs real good, and the guy had ALL service records all done by a dealership. It's 100% stock, w/ no lockers. Not a big concern to me since I would do light trail stuff, if not at most "medium" trail stuff, whatever that is defined by. Got it mostly based on reputation and I needed something bigger for my kids vs my little sentra(now sold), and to pull my 15ft aluminum when I fish the delta and what not.

Enough rambling, plus I gotta get back to work.

Both of my new TLCA calendars agree that the next first Tuesday is July six. Anybody care to voice a preference for a meeting place?
Hooters? The Rubicon Brewery(again)? Arden Mall? Maita Toyota? My house? The Rubicon Trail (again)? Chicago Phyre? Prairie city? Alvaro's house? Sacramento drive-in? Pick&pull? David's shop? Hangtown? Faces?
That's just off the top of my head. Add on or whittle down...
