Rust issue… move to a 200?

Oh the horror. I was going to make this my forever build, but now that I see this rust, I feel I need to switch to a 200 and start over!

Kidding aside, flagging as a place to check for rust. Upper tailgate, under the rubber seal in the middle. My ride has no rust, so really odd to see this here. Assume others could have it in this hidden spot too. Best to address before it turns into a bigger issue.

Not uncommon, leak from the 3rd brake light trapping water inside the gate.

You’ll be fine. Just leave it as is. Not the end of the world. Spray fluid film inside and it will stay like that and won’t get worse for another hundred years.

*In before someone gives you a 50 step process to cut out sheet metal and rebuild the entire panel from the inside out.
