Yea well you might not have the power/torque to pull that bigger tire diameter up a hill.

Yea well you might not have the power/torque to pull that bigger tire diameter up a hill.
And to get the new tires to ride on most of the tread inside to out (not just middle 2 thirds) they need to be inflated to 30 front and 28 rear. And im also sure they are heavier then the 25 year old BFG's as I've read the old ATs could have fewer plys.
 
Funny thing is, I am pretty convinced my BB on the fly wheel is at 0.
I bet you BB is just like mine but it's hard to find the TDC mark. It's easier to find from underneath with the flywheel cover off
