Running Electric Fans -vs- Stock Clutch Fan. Yes or No?

I thought electric fans were better for water crossings, have a hard cut switch...?

dunno if all but the Flex a Lite 31165 I use .. have that option ..

Posted this in the 80's forum, and got a few people fired up about it. People have strong opinions on this, but there are definantly horsepower gains to be had.
