no guarantees I can make it , may be shovelling cement again ...


but if the destination is copper canyon, doesn't make a ton of sense for me to drive all the way in to duncan to meet up and drink that swill ...

may just call one of you for an eta and wait by the road if I'm going.

Sweet! This should be fun. Bring a FRS radio/s if you have them. I have 3, but if you want to borrow one you'll need 4x AAA batteries for each. (I only have enough for 1)

JUST finished getting the factory winch w/ Warn controller hooked up now. Works GREAT, pics and story to come later.

Good run there boys! I had fun in my last minute, un-perpared, dis-organized way. I have some new work ahead of me working out the few issues I had. All in all the truck went well.

Got to say hats off to Andrew! He took that truck in places that would send most shiny truck owners running. He winched, took damage and still left smiling. As did I.

Phewf! What a run... got a little tight in places though Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can buy one of those "JDM window visors" that are made of really hard plexiglass? (but obviously not as hard as the trees)

We met up with Stuart on his dirtbike, which was +cool.

I am very thankful we hooked up my winch THE DAY BEFORE I must say. I really do need to get the rear locker working though. I should mention the pic above isn't where I got stuck

You know, I actually went as far as to FINALLY remove the damn swaybar from my 70 in preparation for this run, but still didnt make it.....


too pissed off at Sepp Blatter for being a such a f'ing Luddite, and having a bit too much of a Raul Duke morning from the Robaxacet ( that s*** got all over me ...somewhat stronger than I'd anticipated...) to make it.


Anyhoo, cool to see the 60 out, gotta love those first drives eh? ( did I tighten all those bolts....?)

And Sweet 80 btw... I have a bad case of 80 envy at the moment , ( and your pics aren't helping), but it's going to have to wait a year or two...


If a certain cruiser merchant returned emails a little quicker , I might be more gung ho to wheel my 70, but at the moment, it's the 70 or the bicycle and a long freakin commute, so i got's ta be gentle.

Dude, we had several empty seats and new wheelers needing some guidance... Really fun and great guys and rigs as always.

That BJ60 open front and rear on ATs was un freaken real, it did two climbs we need lockers in Jays, either the kid can wheel or that 60 just worked great.

Anyhew, it was fun as always, sorry to see a few of the rigs get body damage and I think in the future, we can take a little more time and get a spotter out there..
