Hey Guys, Registration for the 07 Rubicon is up and the good news is that there IS going to be an all Wagon run leaving Wednesday mid morning. Bad news, is that there are only 12 spots so if you lag with your registration then you will not be on the wagon run:doh: ....I'll be sending my stuff in this week and want to see at least 3 of my So Cal 80 brothers on the CON with me this year. If you have any questions send them my way and I'll do my best to answer them or dirct you to someone who can.

I'm going to vent for a second by saying that first and foremost, I do understand that having a family, wife, etc. is a HUGE cloud that looms overhead, but I'll retort that by expressing that we all spend a significant amount of money and time on our rigs, and the fun in having these "toys" is playing with them and submerging in the friends that gather at events like Rubithon.

The Con might not be everyones cup of tea, but for those who love it when we go out to Gorman, Silverwood, Big Bear, etc. the rubicon is truly an experience to be had. Simply stated, you owe it to yourself and to your rig.

No need to console here, it's no skin off my back.

I agree with your thoughts and have been guilty myself in the past of doing the same thing. I was more consoling myself and shouldn't have posted it here. Sometimes there is more than just letting "life" get in the way.

I haven't run the Rubicon in many years and am very much looking forward to running it again, should be more fun fittng an 80 instead of a 4Runner.

I'm signing up for the Thursday 7:00 am run. However, I'm still going to be running the 40 through.

I'll be walking the trail in reverse watching all the Thurs. morning guys make their way through.

By the way, where are people thinking of camping? The last few times I have been camping on the granite past main camp right near the water. It has good access for swimming and isn't too far to walk to dinner.

I'm in :) Sam… can you guys save me a camping spot at the springs?

Working the police concert Wednesday night at staples so I’m on the early Friday morning bonsai run :D

Brian

Springs is Hott Real Estate at the Rubicon, should have a spot. wasn't a problem last year.
