Dry flies from 5 PM till dark!
Caught some decent size fish too and not just dinkers, which was nice!

Dan, I am glad your first trip driving turned out well. I thought the traffic would have been more severe than it sounded like.
What time did you make Buck Island lake? What time did you get into the Springs?

We missed your ugly mug.

There was almost no traffic until the pile up on Cadillac. We saw the two groups at Ellis, a group of three or four that had stupid low gears and was getting their money out of them, a group on the dam at Buck, and a group heading down trail right after that but pretty much nothing else until we hit the springs.

We were at Buck at almost exactly 12:00. Left around 1:00, I'm not sure what time we rolled into the springs. All I wanted at that point was a frosty adult beverage and a splash in the river.

We'll take pictures next time.
