I recently redid the steering and suspension on my FJ62. I went with a 2" OME lift, 17" 1552 Analog wheels, and 285/70R17 Trail Terrain tires.

I’m getting some rubbing on the passenger side when turning left. Looks like the tire is contacting the tie rod or drag link. The truck hasn’t been aligned yet either, and I’m open to alignment shop recommendations in the SFV/LA area.

Do I need spacers? Could the alignment fix this? Am I missing something obvious? Curious if anyone else is running a similar setup and has dealt with this before. Thanks!

Sorry about that! It looks like there are two contact points based on the scars on the wheel.

What is the offset of your rims?

As stated above, looks like your wheel offset is incorrect and will require a spacer. Given the proximity, I bet .25” would do the trick.

Spacer may be needed

Width and backspace play a role here too. There are some nice tables online if you search google. This is where I always start when specifying new wheels for my vehicles.
