We forgot to advertise the "white water rafting" opportunity at the crawl.

What a great event.

Got there at noon Saturday ... sold over a thousand bucks worth of s*** ... drank 26 beers, some moonshine, some blueberry schnapps, and some whiskey ... went to bed at 2 in the mornin. :meh:

Got up 4 hours later and packed up and came home. :grinpimp:

And Debbie's lil' red truck got 18 mpg.

:flamingo:

Don't sit too close..... dang near got kicked out'a the raffle

Oh, I've heard that bout y'all and experienced it first hand at the BHCC a couple of years back...sat next to Dr. Campbell as he loaded up his enclosed trailer with loot. :D Nuttin wrong with spendin a little cash at the raffle, it goes to a good cause.

Damn sorry I missed this run! Did josh wear the same helmet that protects his windows? I had to study all weekend for the Plano civil service test I just can't do Oklahoma anymore it's killing me.

I had a long ass drive going and coming from this event. It was kind of 12-16 hrs drive, since I had to go pick up cousin Loui to San Antonio.

Coming back was fun! We left around 6:00pm Saturday and we did not stay for dinner or the raffle.

As you know, Loui, still in college, and he had to meet with a study group on Sunday afternoon, so we had to leave early.

Loui drove all night to San Antonio. The guy though he was a truck driver, calling people late at night and early in the morning. He even called that old girlfriend of his that went to look for him at Katemcy back in 07. He was having energy drinkings and driving.

We arrived to his house around 5:45am Sunday. After that, I continued to Brownsville and arrived on Sunday right at noon.

..Even the Paloma (the Dodge) did great! It gave us 14mpg w/ no problems at all. We just had on occasion a lil’ bit of smell of the clutch but we made it home just fine. On a few times it puffed some black smoke, which we heard is good, so Loui and I kept on monitoring the muffler sight.

On Wednesday before I left, I almost loose an axel shaft w/ tire and everything. Truck got fixed Wednesday afternoon and I left Wednesday night at 8:00pm and arrived at the park on Thursday at 1:00pm

...And HELL, we'll do it again! This even was great, the park, the band, and the people and the best thing of it, NO KOWBOY!. It made things a lot easier for me. No body giving me hell for being there or because my junk broke. Well, Daryl was giving me hell for the Art work on my hood.

I have a finger painted on the hood of my 40. He said it was the private part of a male,
I said it was the middle finger. God knows I did not do that. The guys at the shop where I work on my cruiser, one day there were bore and they did the art work on my hood w/out approval.

One thing we found out, our Mombassa tent can only take 3 hrs. of heavy rain and then it’s time to leave.

Good Event and I am done wheeling for the year. Sorry Kowboy will not be for the Clayton run.

When I got home my wife did not precisely gave me the welcome back that I wanted, She was not upset or anything but I am not going to push my luck with her for next month. I'll have to do what the lady says for a lil' while, let say January.

This year I attended to 4 events so I think I am good for another year w/ WToE.

Too bad you didn't hang around for the raffle JP. You might have won the "Dicks" gift certficate!
